The consumers' safety represents the highest value. For providing this, Fornetti operates a complex information system of materials management and personal technology, which follows,  documents and verifies the food safety and product quality from raw materials up to the finite product.

In our factories, the high production quality is provided by the Italian and German production equipments, automated and semi-automated with the most modern technology and well-trained employees.

Our products only contain raw materials from suppliers who meet the strict quality conditions, and that are regularly checked. Raw materials can enter the production process if all parameters correspond and if the microbiological verification was carried out in our personal laboratory.

Our measurement system and data collection follow the product from the leaven stage up to packaging. This is a fixed system in the production lines with sensors and measuring stations for performing the measurements in the time intervals provided by the program. The data stored by the system is accessible only by authorized persons, thus making possible the intervention of specialists whenever necessary.

The objective verification of quality and hygiene is provided by our digital system of quality verification. With the help of our own mobile system developed, verifications are conducted according to a structure and a predetermined questionnaire. The questionnaire allows maximum verification, eliminating the subjectivity of the worker. Within the verification of hygiene and production parameters, the system warns in case of deviation, and immediately sends an alarm signal on the phone of the people responsible. Thus, they can intervene at once.

In its products, Fornetti processes the natural raw materials of the highest quality and gives its best to make products with the best nutritional effect. The products with household character are made at industrial scale so that the original recipes do not suffer any change whatsoever due to safety, accuracy, hygiene and constant quality assured by an automated factory.

In line with the purpose of Act 205/26.05.2004 on the Protection and Welfare of Animals, Fornetti Group attaches the utmost importance to the protection of individuals in the animal kingdom and agrees on the need to increase the sense of responsibility of humans in the interest of tolerant treatment of animals.

Since the use of animal products from different ranges raises significant food safety issues, we invariably ponder over whether which form of keeping animals can be considered the safest for the use of the given raw material separately in each case; only raw materials from regularly inspected suppliers which meet strict conditions can be included in our products. We perform microbiological tests on the received raw materials in all cases – only raw the materials made with eggs which are found to be perfect in all their parameters can be used in our products.

The results of expert studies show that due to the proven general dangers of free range (health exposure, hygiene problems), the safest way to keep chickens for the market and consumers is the deep litter system, which has a small ecological footprint and adequate product and consumer safety.

Therefore, taking into consideration our sustainability goals and the possibilities provided by food safety rules, laws and regulations, Fornetti Group uses an increasing proportion of eggs and products made thereof from the deep litter system every year: these types of products now account for almost 50% of our total use.

Our set goal is to use direct preparations made only and exclusively from the deep litter system for the production of our products by 2023.
